stigma surrounding trauma and mental health, advocating for a future where individuals
feel empowered to reclaim their stories and find solace in the art of healing.

Artist statement
I am deeply inspired by the idea that trauma does not define my identity buy rather shapes
the journey towards self-discovery and inner peace. I really find beauty in being vulnerable. I
confide a lot in my pieces with the agenda of finding closure with myself, those haunting
situations where you cannot help but find yourself contemplating your whole identity and
you just sink into numbness.
Art has really played a role in creating a notion that healing is a lifelong process, one that is
enriched through sharing experience and fostering a deeper understanding of myself and
others.
